METASHINE® is an inorganic luster pigment with superior brilliance, made by coating the surfaces of glasflake (which is a scale-like glass with highly smooth surfaces) with metals such as gold, silver or nickel or with metal oxides such as titanium oxide or iron oxide, using non-electrolytic plating technology. When it is added to the coating material or used for coating resin, elegant and bright color tones can be obtained. It is used for a wide range of products such as bicycles, motorcycles, building materials and electrical products.
