A safe composition not containing antimony which is feared as a toxic substance.
Without using antimony of antimony-doped tin oxide, something that had been used for a long time, a product with equivalent characteristics was developed. That technology was also applied to white pigments, and antimony-free white electro-conductive materials have been developed successfully.

Movement for “antimony-free” products

As reduction of environmental influence has become a critical issue, shift from solvent-based paints to water-based paints is promoted as a part of reduction of CO2 emissions. In combination with this, proposal of new antimony-free materials has become especially important.

Antimony-free product with the same level of conductivity

With the unique technology of Mitsubishi Materials, the same level of conductivity, which had been difficult to obtain without antimony, has been achieved.

A feature to provide not only temporary conductivity but also semi-permanent conductivity can be added.

High hiding power, whiteness and tinting strength

The product W-4 has high hiding power, whiteness, luminosity value and tinting strength. In addition, the conventional blue-gray tone could be reduced.

High antistatic function in coating agents and compounds

The product can be mixed with white coating agents and compounds with antistatic function, as well as with various pigments and dyes, to create antistatic materials in various colors.

It can also be used for a countermeasure against annoying static electricity.
